When
is Zero
Balancing
appropriate?

A Zero Balancing
session
is ideal for aiding to cope
effectively with stresses
encountered in daily life
as well as in times of
major transitions. Zero
Balancing can also be a
beneficial addition to ones
own journey of self-
discovery and self-
actualization. Zero
Balancing creates a point
of stillness where the
mind quiets, the energy
fields organize and internal reorientation occurs. The
process is designed to
work in tandem with
primary healthcare,
focusing on deep quieting
and integration of the
body, mind, emotions and
spirit to promote optimum
functioning.

How
often should a
Zero Balancing
session be received?

The number and frequency
of sessions received
depends on ones reason
why they are seeking Zero
Balancing. A minimum of
three sessions is
recommended, however,
since each session builds
on the last. Maintenance
sessions, if needed,
should be at intervals of
every two to four weeks.

Zero Balancing

Zero Balancing® is
a hands-on bodywork modality designed to align the energy and
structure of the body by incorporating Eastern concepts of energy
and healing with Western approaches of anatomy and physiology
focusing on the skeletal system.
The importance
of balance between the
structural and energy bodies

The structural and energy
bodies work in concert with one another and with the external
world, yet can function independently of each other. The structural
body is what can be seen and touched - bone, soft tissue and
all that comprises the physical body. The energy body is the
seen and unseen movement, including muscular movements, movement
of tissue fluids, cellular and molecular vibrations, movement
within the body fields, and movement of the life force itself.
The energy body directly affects, and in large part is responsible
for, ones mood, emotions and vitality.
Essentially, the quality of energy and structure, and their relationship
to one another directly affects how well we function physically,
emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Many people after a Zero
Balancing session report experiencing a sense of greater fluidity,
integration and general well-being.
How is Zero
Balancing performed?

Performed fully clothed,
a session typically lasts between 20-40 minutes. Beginning in
a seated position, then moving to a reclining position on a massage
table. Using touch, the ZB practitioner evaluates the energy
fields and energy flow and balances the structure as appropriate.
